3D Animation of Police-Citizen Encounters
We are a training and research company that develops evidence-based methods for improving the safety and outcomes of face-to-face interactions between police officers and citizens. We are currently developing new training tools that will use 3D animations based on videos of actual police-citizen interactions to create decision-making exercises. The exercises will focus on topics such as the use of force, de-escalation, situational awareness, and effective use of verbal skills to handle complex, rapidly evolving situations.
We are looking for a meticulous, creative, idealistic person who wants to apply his/her skills to help improve the capacity of police officers to protect the public and themselves in ways that are legally, ethically, and tactically sound. Previous experience providing technical services and assistance in support of police, law enforcement, defense, security, or similar organizations is helpful but not required.
Here is a brief summary of what we need:
1. Short video of police-citizen interaction converted to 3D animated scenes.
2. We will provide the source video via Internet URL or as .mp4 files.
3. 3D animation you create must be fully editable using Real Illusion software.
4. 3D animation you create must be convertible to .mp4 files.
5. Video for conversion to animation will be approximately 2-5 minutes long.
If you successfully create a sample animation that meets our standards, there may be opportunities to create significant additional content on a regular basis.
