JOB OVERVIEW
The Addiction Sciences Division within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., College of Medicine is seeking multiple individuals to serve as a Technical Facilitator - Criminal Justice in the HEALing Communities Study (HCS).
 
The Technical Facilitator - Criminal Justice serves a key role in the HEALing Communities Study (HCS), a large, multi-site clinical trial funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) within the states of Ohio, KY, Mass and NY. The study will use community engaged methods to unite experts and community stakeholders to narrow service gaps with the goal of reducing opioid deaths by 40%. In Ohio, the study will be carried out across nineteen communities. The Technical Facilitator - Criminal Justice will be based in the community and will report to the Intervention Core Team at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
 
The Technical Facilitator - Criminal Justice will provide technical assistance within their community to ensure fidelity to chosen interventions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Serve as the hands-on technical support person within the community for the chosen Intervention. *Act as a liaison with the coalition members, clinical experts, and all other appropriate stakeholders. *Assist with training and education on relevant programs and initiatives within the community. *Participate in the ongoing evaluation of the relevant community Intervention, reporting to the community leaders and study team on progress, costs, as well as community feedback. *Collaborate with local leaders and study leaders to ensure community voices are at the table. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need. REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree

REQUIRED TRAININGS/CERTIFICATIONS
*Valid licensure or certification where applicable. *Local travel, must have valid driver's license and transportation.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
*Must have experience in field of addiction and substance use disorders. *Relevant experience and training in the field of criminal justice.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). *Experience in working in a culturally diverse community setting. *Strong organizational skills. *Ability to manage staff and delegate tasks. *Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. *Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of all personal/community coalition information. *Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.

Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
