JOB OVERVIEW

The School of Criminal Justice at the University of Cincinnati is looking for an Adjunct Instructor to teach classes in the Criminal Justice and/or Law & Paralegal Studies programs. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all other activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

*On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate-level and/or graduate-level courses in the School of Criminal Justice and/or the Law & Paralegal Studies programs. *Evaluate student coursework. *Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities. *Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications. *Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

*Academic degree in an appropriate discipline and prior teaching experience. *Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject. *Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Candidates for this position must have earned a Master's degree or higher in Criminal Justice or a related field and/or an earned Juris Doctorate.
